Original Title: Ultimo squalo, L' (1981)
A quaint little beach town is terrorized by a bloodthirsty great white shark in Enzo Castellari's infamous Italian Jaws rip-off The Last Shark. As usual, the powers that be turn a blind eye to it for tourist reasons, although eventually even they cannot escape the ocean of blood at their doorstep. Cue novelist Peter Benton (James Franciscus) and shark hunter Ron Hamer (Vic Morrow), who valiantly seek to kill the beast.

Review: L' ULTIMO SQUALO is a trash film that has become a classic. I wish it was one of the JAWS sequels, because it's waaaay better than JAWS 2, 3 and THE REVENGE.

Unfortunately, argh, Universal sued this film for being a rip-off from JAWS, that's why it's really hard to find the DVD. I must admit that it, even thought a rip-off it's an actual tribute to JAWS and JAWS II.

The shark looks fake in some parts, and very close to a real Great White in other parts, in scenes like: the helicopter attack, the regatta scene, to name a few.

It's hard to find, but it's worth it
